I'll be watching this one for sure! I love these Oldsmobiles. My Dad had a bunch when I was growing up. That 455 is a beast. Keep up the good work and keep us updated on progress.

How do those header fit in your chassis. I need to find a new set for my 67. Mine are messaged to much and looked like crud. But I will watch this build also.

I hate to see that motor on a stand where it can get cob webs and dirt dobbers nests. I will PM my address. I promise to take good care of it until you are ready.

Yes. I'm actually getting some seats put in right now. After I get the car back, I will be putting in new front suspension from SC&C and new C6 brakes from Kore3.

Great looking engine you have there. Where did you get that cool shorty aluminum oil fill tube?

NICE car - love the offy valve covers!

BTW, you're teasing. We can see the motor on the dyno, so how about some numbers, eh? I've never met Bill T but have always heard he can build some killer Olds motors.

Thanks--I think the valve covers give the engine a unique look---but they came without baffles and were a bit of a PITA! This motor is actually a relatively mild build. It puts out about 500 HP/550 TQ. I'll post the dyno sheet when I get home tonight.

That's an oil fill tube from FCR Performance to my knowledge.

Can't wait to see the car lowered with the big brakes.

Yes the oil fill tube is from FCR Perfromance (fcrparts.com). If you click on the "Mew FCR Parts" tab you can see them on the bottom of that page.

Wow Like like the olds. I always had a soft spot for them. In college I had a 71 Cutlass. If the car could talk it would be X-rated.

Just got in a set of ATS AFX spindles & steering arms, SPC Pro-lite UCA's, and SPC LCA's. Thanks to Mike (69496) for a smokin' deal on these. I guess suspension retrofit just moved to the front of the line!
