      Pro-Touring.com - New T-shirt designs needed

      Pro-Touring.com - New T-shirt designs needed

I'm curious. Would anyone be interested in helping design new t-shirts for Pro-Touring.com? In the past it's just been our logo on the front left pocket and a large one on the back. I think it's time to get a little more creative and let the members help design it if anyone is interested.

I have no idea what to do but it has to be recognizable as the site with perhaps the logo still on the front or somehow on the back. Maybe we could use the original logo on the front and put some slogan on the back. Something about a poser or not a poser or poke fun at the question that explodes all the time as to what a Pro-Touring car is. Maybe poke fun at drag cars or anything that isn't well rounded and can do o.k. at most anything?

I'm just kicking around ideas and if anyone is interested please reply. Even if you have a great idea but can't do the artwork I may be able to work around that.

What would you like to see? What would be cool or fun? What would stir things up and be a little edgy? Post up your ideas and lets get everyone involved and maybe put some stuff to a vote or a poll.

What about a photo (or illustration) on the back of the shirt of Motiv8tr , facing Bad Penny , facing Velocity , facing The Detroit Speed 2nd Gen ..
      Like a four-way Mexican Standoff ???
That would show some great examples of state-of-the-art pro-touring cars ....

Larry, call me sometime. I'll talk with my brother-in-law about it. He's a graphic designer for a t-shirt printing company.

Considering I check this site like A billion times a day, I would like to have an old one or a new one. If we dont get something soon I may be forced to use duct tape and a plain t-shirt and make my own. All kidding aside I would like an old one if there are any available

Due to no time to deal with shipping I set up a cafe press site. Old versions of most items can be found at http://www.cafepress.com/ProTouring and that's where the new shirts will eventually be found as well.

      Larry,

I would rework the pro-touring logo to include Motiv8r instead of the cartoon, and straighten it out. Maybe more clean and straight. Then put on the back: THE DEFINITION OF PRO-TOURING. And list all of the "definitions". Maybe we can start another (god help me) definition of pro-touring thread with a poll that lists qualifications to vote on or something. Then take the top votes..... might work..... probably not though lol

i like the idea of putting motiv8r in the logo and we should definetly put it on the front...as far as the back...this is just an idea...have a couple different back designs...vote on them...if you have people that like two different back ideas almost equally and want one of each then why not...ill start thinking of some stuff cause id like a shirt and didnt get the first...im in

Whatever you do, keep the same basic layout.

Small logo on the front with large artwork on the back.

I second that! What about bowling shirts - Not sure of the correct name but something a little more formal. Does that sound redneck or what?

Ok if you think about it, if it was something like a bowling shirt...instead of us being a bowling team...we would be a pro-touring team...lol even though we run against eachother but its the idea that the pro-tourer's(if thats correct) against the pro-street,drag,tuner, ect. ect.

I was thinking more of a dickies work shirt.

The material bowling shirts are made from is usually pretty fragile and easy to stain.

That may be possible in the future. For now it needs to go on something CafePress sells.
