      column

Ijust bought a ididit column thru gp store and it has the ignition in it.that is probably the main reason i went with ididit.it is a direct bolt in and you can choose how long you want the shaft.

ididit for me too. I wanted the key in the dash, and they made it a custom length for me.

We have used flaming river in the past I like their stuff for street rods. We have an ididit for a 69 we are currently building it's really nice. We did a chrome setup so it shines...

The ididit column with the key doesn't look right to me. It doesn't look oe enough for me.

AAW's wiring kits come with an ignition switch for the dash (just like OEM). I used their HiWay 22 kit.

I used the Falming River unit in the Nova. I rewired the car using Ron Francis harness and actually deleted the ash tray by welding it flat and installing the key in it. That way when the car is on or off I can flip up the ash tray and the key is gone. Cleans it up a bit in the car. just my .02

I have heard that the Ididit versions use the original mounting hardware. What all do you actually reuse on a 67 ?? I know there are mounting brackets that mount to the steering wheel that attach to the under dash bolts. Also there are pieces that cover the bracket on teh steering wheel. Are all of these pieces reused on the Ididit models so it looks like a stock mount ??

67 what? Based on your username, I'm guessing Firebird, so I can't help you.

On my 67 Chevy II, all my stuff was custom fabricated: column to firewall, column to dash, column to steering wheel adapter, etc.
