Camaro Gold edition door panel quality?

I am in the process of rebuilding the interior in my 68 Camaro and I ordered a set of gold edition panels from Ricks because I thought they were the best ones available. I have always had excellent quality with all the parts I have ordered from Ricks, but these panels (made by PUI) are just terrible. The vinyl pressing is decent and crisp (except where they melted the vinyl) but the trim inserts look like they were cut by a third grader with blunt tin snips.

Has anyone used these on their Camaro and if so, does the trim look like it does in these pictures? I will be sending these back on Monday and I am just hoping it was a mistake when they were assembled......I can't imagine PUI would intentionally use trim that looked this bad.
