      Toyota's Precision Unintended Acceleration Solution

So we are all more than aware of the unintended acceleration circus and how Toyota has come up with a solution to fix the affected vehicles. Basically, they're putting in shims, but Toyota certainly won't be caught calling them that . . . that might be too close to honest for them.

Also good for a laugh is the fact that at the Chicago autoshow, many of the Toyota's on display still had the questionable unsecured floormats . . . you know, because in September it wasn't conceivable that a Toyota could have any sort of actual mechanical design flaws.

How ****ing dare anyone make fun of Toyota after all it's been through?

They lost Jim Press, they suffered in the financial collapse, and they had two ****in' recall campaigns! ALL YOU PEOPLE CARE ABOUT IS GETTING BLOG VIEWS OFF THEM! THEY'RE A COMPANY

What you don't realize is that they're getting you all these blog views and you're writing all this crap about them. They haven't made a profit this year.

Their new commercial is about the recall because all you people want is MORE MORE MORE! Leave them alone!

You're lucky they even let you *******s test their cars. LEAVE TOYOTA ALONE! Please.

The press said Toyota was perfect and they could have pulled it off alright.

Speaking of professionalism, since when was it OK to publicly bash someone who's going through a hard time?

      LEAVE TOYOTA ALONE! Please!

      (sobs)

      Leave Toyota alone RIGHT NOW!

      I mean it!

Anyone who has a problem with them, deal with me because they're not well right now.

      (continues sobbing.)

      Leave them alone.

no, the fix is a series of tv commercials that say they are sorry and that they will do better from now on.

Well, the good news is we now know why Kyle Busch was so dominant last year - his throttle was stuck!

ahh yeah but what you don't hear is the revised torque switch and wore rerouting and ECU update v3.

Can we drop the Toyota stuff?
I hear Chrysler has an air bag recall that corrects the driver airbag accidental discharge when driving past Hooters restruants. And Jeep has an issue with intermittent headlight operation when driving down rough roads at night, It doesn't happen during the day. With no know fix at this time.

Why? Uncomfortable much? Super infallible number one automaker is finally being recognized for what they are: nothing special.

who me, I can give two #%^&* craps about it. Theres just so much other cool stuff going on in the world that make 16 threads about Toyota's apparent problematic cover up's really shallow.

It's big car news. Big enough that even the mainstream media picked up on it. This is a car site.

There are currently 4817 threads in this section of the forum. I'm sure you can find something else to dwell on if you'd rather not think about Toyota's quality issues.
