Nice.... thats looks very familiar. Do yourself a favor and order the hex adjusters for the upper arms. It will be 10x easier to adjust for your alignment.

Thanks for the tip...I was wondering is there was such a thing. Channel locks in the new arms would suck.

Yeah, it looks real familiar to me also

Another suggestion. Especially if you're going to run a traditional pontiac motor and headers. Go ahead and get the SPC tubular lower control arms from SC&C now also. You will very possibly run into a clearance issue with the Stage II+, a Pontiac motor, and (at least Dougs) headers where the inside edge of the lower control arm (flat portion between the two mounting bolts/bushings) is EXTREMELY close to the header tubes. It was way to close for my taste. Also, if you've got that same combination make sure that you have very little of the bolt showing on the inside of the A-Arms, as the bolts can sometimes hit the headers.

I will be running the original pontiac motor WITH Doug's headers. Thanks for the heads up.

Gear...I ended up going with the big brake kit from CPP. A friend of mine installed this exact kit on his 71 Chevelle convertable and the brakes perform very well. So based on my buget and test driving the system, I went with CPP. I'll update everyone when I get this system up and running.

Double check your install. I believe the welded portion of the BJ plate on UCA's faces forward.

Thanks for the heads up Bochnak. I checked the instructions and you are right regarding the welded joint facing forward. I watches the install video on the SPC website and the tech installed the arm the same way I did...lol. I think I'll follow the directions. Thanks for catching that.

If you're considering replacing the lowers, then now would be the time to do it....

Just finished fixing the spc arm install. Luckily ony the left arm was backwards. I just unbolted the plate, flipped over and re-installed ball joint. Sweet system. Thanks for the sharp eyes...I would have TOTALLY missed it. I LOVE PT.COM!!!!!
