Shock valving for a 68 Cutlass...

Ok here's the deal. I am from the middle of circle track race country where I can pretty much have pick of the litter when it comes to finding shcoks/coilovers. I am planning on putting coilovers on the back of the convertible BUT I do not know what shock valving I need for a street car. I am looking for a base if anybody has a clue in what I am asking. I am looking at running the Carrera 67 series, I just don't know what to use for rates...
