      New Camaro SS Review

      Grassroots Motorsports Magazine Review
Had some fun shooting a less-than-technical comparison video between my 68 and a new SS. The 5th gen does awesome donuts! Link above will take you to the review. Scroll down for video.

I just got a look at the production convertible over in the RWD Studio a few minutes ago. Amazing how well this car translates to a rag top.

It was all kinds of fun. There is something about driving a press fleet car that makes you do bad things. I also got to borrow the car for an overnighter. Had to show the neighbor the Manufacturer plates. Took the wife and kid out to dinner. Afterwards, they were both "Blah, Blah, Blah" at the same time. I thought.... "I can stop this. I have the power...." One clutch dump and two gear changes later, they were both perfectly quiet for the next 7 seconds. It was awesome.

Then the kid yells "Faster! Faster!" I lifted. I like the car enough to buy one. I just need to get acclimated to the ergos. They should clearance the headliner so that we can raise the seat and then all will be well.

If you think it's low in that car don't sit in one with a sunroof.

I'll have to remember this one Steve. I like...
It's good to here someone else's review of the Camaro. After my mods, it would be intuitive to get your opinion. Are you going back to Motor State?

I've heard the sunroof cars are bad, T. To clarify, I have adequate headroom if I sink the seat. But if I want visibility over the dash and cowl, I prefer to raise the seat.
I was poking at the headliner to see if there is room for improvement. It feels like there is some room. Recesses above the front seats should be as deep as the recesses above the visors. Then I could jack my seat up a little higher to improve visibility over the cowl.

Other than that, I love the car.

You won't be able to. At least the car. It will be constantly surrounded by tire smoke. Kinda like pigpen.
