Any one ever did a mini-mini tub?

I mean, just cut the inner edges for about 1/2 - 3/4 " take a big hammer and knock the inner fender 1/2 - 3/4" inwards and weld it up.

some one must have done this. pictures?

I have a 18x10" wheel with a 285 tire. It fits but a little more room would be better.

thats how we did it in the old days but there are better methods now....
      1st picture hammer stretch
      2nd pix traditional section added

both add the same amount to well, in our case 2 3/4" needed to tuck 315's. Prep it right and its hard to tell its been done.
