I gave up on them. I seem to feel better without taking the supplements. I do religiously juice fruits and vegetables before the gym however.

I am taking Opti-Men by Optimum Nutrition and they seem to be pretty high quality. I have also tried the animal pak and GNC stuff which I also liked. Take a look at bodybuilding.com. They have great prices on all of their supps as compared to my local health stores.

I have been looking on Bodybuilding.com, Kris Gethin is my new hero. LOL. I was going to order some stuff from there, but my chiro doc gets some that are only sold to doctors that he uses, but it is like $50 for a month supply.

I was taking creating powder that I got at walmart. I should probably find something better quality. Haven't taken any amino's.

Creatine is only supposed to be used for short spurts.... Like 30-60 days max. I wouldn't touch the stuff at your age personally.

I use a multivitamin from Costco. Can't say 1 has ever been better than another when it comes to multivitamins.

What I read said creatine is something that makes your blood vessels larger to allow more blood to flow to the muscles while you are working out. I didn't see anything saying only to use it for 30-60 days.

Creatine, or NITRO? NITRO is what gives vascularity and increased blood flow. Take a couple Nitro and your ears will start to tingle right before your workout. Creatine carries water to muscle, aids in ATP regeneration and assists in protein sysnthesis.

Here is what Wikipedia says for Creatine:

Creatine is a nitrogenous organic acid that occurs naturally in vertebrates and helps to supply energy to muscle. Creatine was identified in 1832 when Michel Eugène Chevreul discovered it as a component of skeletal muscle, which he later named creatine after the Greek word for flesh, κρέας (kreas).

Creatine supplements are sometimes used by athletes, bodybuilders, and others who wish to gain muscle mass, typically consuming 2 to 3 times the amount that could be obtained from a very-high-protein diet. A survey of long-time use gives the creatine content of several foods. The Mayo Clinic states that creatine has been associated with asthmatic symptoms and warns against consumption by persons with known allergies. Gastrointestinal side effects can include loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, diarrhea, and nausea. Use of creatine may also cause muscle cramps or muscle breakdown, leading to muscle tears or discomfort. A supplement regime using creatine can have associated side effects such as strains and sprains due to unwarranted increases in workout regimens after starting creatine, weight gain and increased muscle mass due to water retention in muscles, heat intolerance, fever, and electrolyte imbalance (with possible seizures) due to accidental dehydration, and kidney stones from a high-protein diet or dehydration. There is less concern today than there used to be about possible kidney damage from creatine, although there are reports of kidney damage, such as interstitial nephritis; patients with kidney disease should avoid use of this supplement. Similarly, liver function may be altered, and caution is advised in those with underlying liver disease. In theory, creatine may alter the activities of insulin. Caution is advised in patients with diabetes or hypoglycemia, and in those taking drugs, herbs, or supplements that affect blood sugar. Serum glucose levels may need to be monitored by a healthcare professional, and medication adjustments may be necessary. Long-term administration of large quantities of creatine is reported to increase the production of formaldehyde, which may potentially cause serious unwanted side effects. Creatine may increase the risk of compartment syndrome of the lower leg, a condition characterized by pain in the lower leg associated with inflammation and ischemia (diminished blood flow), which is a potential surgical emergency. Reports of other side effects include thirst, mild headache, anxiety, irritability, aggression, nervousness, sleepiness, depression, abnormal heart rhythm, fainting or dizziness, blood clots in the legs (called deep vein thrombosis), seizure, or swollen limbs. Mayo Clinic and U.S. National Library of Medicine list some safety concerns regarding creatine.

I am guess NITRO is probably the same, or similar, to NO Xplode. Which is loaded with Caffeine, I have to stay away from that because Caffeine gives me Migraine headaches.

LOL....I tore a pectoral and had wicked gas. I used Celltech which was some killer stuff. Lot's of energy and strength. It was going great until that whole pectoral tear. Never touched the stuff again. Eat good most of the time and work out. You don't need all the supplements.

Anyone that has seen me knows I know nothing about any of this stuff, but find it amazing when someone on a car board is looking for Suplement advice. One of the best ones ever was someone looking for investment advice on another board, LOL! But better then that was a guy looking for Prostate health advice on a car board, ROFLMAO!

I am going to a doctors dot com and asking for Suspension advice right now!

      Sorry Sam, couldn't help myself!

I HAVE met Frank & he is right, he knows NOTHING about this stuff. Touche' Sorry Frank, just kidding.....LOL

But he sure can build cars.

But seriously I thought I would ask on here because people on here are "REAL", not like on workout forums where alot of the members are gym rats that spend all day in the gym working out. Sure if I could devote 100% of my daily time to working in the gym I could look like that too. But I have work, stuff to do on the house, wife, kids that don't allow me to do that.

And Bodybuilding.com says to drink a gallon of water a day. I'm lucky to get half that down.

I just take a multivitamin and am a big believer in Omega FAs ..aka fish oil capsules. I just buy the stuff at Sam's or Costco and don't for a minute buy this BS about some high dollar vitamins being more "bioavailable"...just infomercial jargan.
