And the mystery continues... I do know the V10 install manual I have doesn't say anything about odd firing, just gives the order. Not that it's designed for those that want to know every intimate detail about the engine.

The hood for my project is coming along nicely! I can't wait to see this thing finished. The next step is to have a mold pulled from it so it can be recast into one seamless piece, rather than the many pieces it has taken to get here. Should be done just in time for my return to the States and my mega-thrash.

I dont remember - but what trans are you putting behind the V10?

Thanks. Trans is a T-56 out of a Gen 2 Viper.

Awesome hood. If you make a mold I have a guy that will do carbon fiber. Just saying!

I'm hoping for a Carbon version. The guy building it is pulling the mold and mentioned Carbon. I told him I'd be in for it if he'll do it. We'll see.

Thanks. There is plenty more to come too. I just received new bent rear frame rails from Art Morrison and am considering reworking the fronts with some bent rails from Morrison as well.

Small world... I have lived in Katy for 6 years now, not far from Katy Mills (Westgreen between Fry and Mason on I-10)... Texas ALL my life. OK there have been stints where I have worked out of town for 1-9 month stretches.

As soon as I get my 66 mustang and 85 mustang sold I will have a completely empty garage to work in. I will then get the Project post going...

Might be a dumb question, but are you worried about water getting on the engine? I want to do something with heat extractors on my hood, but I don't know what to do to keep water out.

Not worried about water. I figure there are enough Vipers running through the rain with this hood that I'll be fine. If I end up having issues I'll deal with it and figure something out. Thanks.
