A Corvette IS the original Pro-Touring Car!

Since we like modifying old cars in PT cars let's look at the 60's Corvettes from the factory in comparison to ANYTHING else American at the time.

1963-1967. New and timeless design body, fuel injection and 4 wheel independent suspension and Big Drum brakes and later 4 wheel disc brakes, F41 Handling package and more. Can we say Z06 or L88?

1968 up. New and timeless design body, BB power, alloy wheels, racing option to order for street, 4 Wheel disc Brakes, sidepipes, F41 Handling package and more. Can we say ZL1, ZR1, ZR2?

Sounds like the original PT car of thet ime to me!


Oh and let's not forgot the NEW (now old) 2009 ZR1 Corvette that in factory STOCK conditon out performs most ANY PT car that has been built to date.
