What kind of wheels are these ???

      Thanks for the nice words!

The wheels are made by Etoile. They were a French company and I believe they are no longer around. I purchased the wheels in 1991 for about $3000. Very cutting edge at the time. They are actually 17" x 11.5" wide.

Those wheels look simple , functional , and easy to clean.
They look like a Ferrari F40 wheel..

Thanks Rob. I told my wife she could get anything she wanted (within reason). She bought a fence for the yard.

      For the dog.

      She loves that dog!

Try tracking down the December 2003 issue of Popular Hot Rodding; The cover car is a 67 Corvette Coupe as you describe (not LS7, but TT).

The Brent Jarvis Coupe comes to mind as well.

Love the paint. Is that satin?

Thanks for all the direction guys.

Edit: Brian - Love the car. Super clean. I like clean. Forgive the ignorance - are those flares?

And yes.... I guess pro-TOURING is a little redundant for a corvette :D

I'm in the process of building one for myself; it has a LONG way to go, though (still doing bodywork). There are several on http://www.corvetteforum.com , as well as http://www.vettemod.com.

We offer a chassis for the corvettes that incorporates all the C-4 running gear and utilizes the stock frame. We offer additional bracing to help stiffen the chassis if wanted. Here a couple examples of done cars with our chassis.

this car was build by Brent Jackson

this car was built by Greg Thurmond at GTS Customs I will get some pictures of under the hood soon, but it is a LS7/ T56

This one was also built by GTS Customs

Here is some info on our chassis

When you get the wheel offset and ride height "right" on a C2, there is no prettier car. I'd sell my mom and sister into white slavery for that C2ZR1!

If you decide to do this project, you really need to start with a custom frame. SRIII, Newman, Street Shop to name a few. The basic frame will run $7k or so. C4 suspension is added to the frame with upgrades to C5 and C6 available. If you forgo a custom frame, the car will lose significant value. Roadstershop builds a very nice complete chassis but they havnt done a c3 yet. Beware, many of the frame/suspension packages may come with a Dana 36 irs. All companies have upgrade packages for a Dana 44 or better.

Im doing a 65 Coupe and it has really been fun, as long as I dont look at my checkbook to often!
