69 firebird instrument cluster retainers
Hello everyone I'm installing a covans instrument cluster with autometer gauges. Along the top of the cluster there are 4 mounting screw holes. In the frame of the dash where they screw in there are 4 plastic inserts that the screws go into. Does anyone know where to get these inserts ? The previous owners have totally lost 2 of them and the other 2 are all walored out.

NAPA has them but I made steel backing plates out of 18 ga. and ran the screws directly into them. It's a lot stronger.

Ames Performance Engineering has them in their GTO catalog. Part #A259W. Same as firebird. 1.00 each.
