New Vintage USA Cutlass Gauge Cluster

We worked with New Vintage USA for a gauge cluster for Project Sabre. We wanted something that was a bolt-in solution without having to heavily modify or cut up the dash. What they did was take a stock 3-gauge-pod bezel that I had, and used it as a template to make an ABS gauge holder. You take the ABS panel, set it over the bezel and mark where you need to cut (using a dremel or jig saw). Then, cut out enough to allow all the gauges to sit without contacting, and use some epoxy to bond the two together.

      Original Bezel:

ABS Overlay on top of Bezel, prior to trimming:

Here is what the ABS pod looks like loaded, and using one of their Indicator Panels in the center (with turn signals, high beams and warning lights).

I love it. They have the pattern now, so they can reproduce them for any customer

Can you believe I called New Vintage today to order a bezel and indicator, they told me it is only available as a package with gauges? I try to support a local business and they try to upsell you 400%. What a joke...I'll get a sheet of ABS and make my own.

They spent time working with my original panel to come up with the design, to get everything to fit, and to have a nice layout. They stay in business through sales of gauges, not the ABS panel.

They are obviously selling enough gauges or they would be out of busines. As I stated I was buying an indicator panel and bezel. What bothers me is they told me months ago they could do it and have a 2 day turnaround, now its only available with gauges. There are not many people with Cutlass' changing out to a 6 gauge setup, most are using 3 gauge multifunction to fit the factory bezel. If NVU doesn't sell many the time put into making one is gone out the window. Its not rocket science, I just ordered a sheet of ABS to make my own at 1/4 the cost. I was merely trying to support a local business.

I missed the indicator part, I thought you were just trying to buy the abs sheet.
