Everytime that see those minis, I think about a friend's 56' Hillman. He yanked the 4 banger and put a spunky 302 in it....from the exterior it still looks fairly stock, with the exception of the five spoke ford ranger wheels on it.

1970 RS/SS350 139K on the clock:
89 TPI motor w/ 1pc rear seal coupled to a Viper T56 via Mcleod's modular bellhousing w/ hydraulic T/O bearing from the Viper, 12 bolt rear w/ 3.73 gearing, SC&C upper control arms, factory lowers with Delalums, C5 brakes at all four corners, Front Wheels 17x8's with Sumi 255/40/17 and Rear Wheels 17x9's with Sumi 275/40/17.

That mini in the second post looks awesome. But I am having a hard time picturing how that front LCA works. THe rodend in 90* to the intended rotation. So the max travel is limited to the rotation of the spherical bearing +/- 15* max?

Keep in mind that original Mini's didn't have a huge suspension travel due to their goofy hydrolastic setup
