      Thanks Steve and Nick

I know there is another thread about this month's Camaro Performers articles, but as the promoter of RTTHs, let me say Thank You so much for the coverage of the event. Even though not all cars there are Camaros, it is great to see the event covered. Shame other magazines don't think these events are the coming thing. After years of lounge chair events, we have venues we can show our stuff and then to read about the events is huge.
Steve, thanks for your continued support over the years for RTTHs, and we look forward to seeing you and Penny back here in 2010. Of all the cars I have ever had at the event, including the G-Force Cuda, I think penny hands down has been the most popular car to attend.

      Thanks Bill..

You know, I love working for Camaro Performers. Mostly because Nick, unlike some editors "gets it". About the only downside to working there is that we can only cover Camaros since both of us would really like covering everything. At least there's always Camaros at every event, and lots of them! lol

Events like RTTH are vital to our hobby. Static car shows are frankly boring and so the coverage of those shows can end up being boring. These events arn't.

I've covered RTTH every year and as long as have any say I will continue to cover this event since it's symbolizes everything I love about hot rodding, good friends and cars being beat on.

I will be there there again in 2010 and I'm considering bringing Penny again, the only problem is that the event is so late in the summer and I need a couple months to get ready for SEMA. Either way I can't wait for next year

And Bill, if you would have blown up the Charger I would have got it in the magazine.. lol

I too enjoy the coverage of RTTH and Motorstate and would love to see some of the other great cars.

Perhaps you could intentionally run photos with other stuff in the background to spread the love a bit? The photo of a dozen great looking Camaros is awesome. But augment that with pics of a Camaro (and a mustang), a Camaro (and a chevelle), a Camaro (and a mopar) etc....

They do this to some extent. In the RTTH article on page 61, look right behind the #6 Camaro and you will see my El Camino. Thanks for not photoshopping me out Steve, lol.

Thanks for the coverage Steve and Nick. You even put my primered 68 Camaro in there. Bill also does a great job with the event also. The Pro-Touring group has a great time together. I brought friends this year and now they are hooked. They are already asking about RTTH6. I also noticed spectators starting to take notice of the events.

RTTH is the most fun, laid back event of the year. Hanging out at Bill's place, racing, checking out the strip, its just a ball. I did love the coverage in Camaro Performers, and love the fact that Nick, and Steve are not only competing in the events, but are in the top 5. Can't wait till next year, if it takes carnage for a non-Camaro to get in a Camaro mag. I hope I don't get any coverage next year.LOL Ron
