      69 Fbody

      Fbody rear disc
      Installed the SSBC kit yesterday.
      Couple of issues:
1)I haven't cut in the adj prop valve yet. Do I need one?
2)Do I need to remove the orig hold off valve from the front line?
3)The ebrake cable...I need a longer one on the pass side, The kit came with a short extension cable but I have no idea how they figured this thing would be used. Anybody know of a cable I can pull from a wrecking yard that will give me the right length?

My $.02 for what it's worth:

      1) Yes, install an adjustable proportioning valve. It will work without it, but should work better with.

      2) You don't need to remove the OE hold-off valve, however you don't need either. It isn't doing anything beneficial in a disc/disc system.

      3) I don't know...hopefully someone else can be more helpful on this one.

      Update:
I went scrounging today. Since the calipers SSBC uses for this kit are Tbird, I looked at the Fords and pulled a cable off a 96 Taurus(driver side)($16). Fit is good. I may go back and get another for the other side tomorrow.
I tried to unbend the loop in the original brake line on my car to install the adj prop valve and of course it snapped so I have to go buy a tube nut tomorrow and make a new flare. BTW The instructions say install it after the dist block if it has an integral switch.
More to come if anybody's interested.
