      New Guy

Well, I have been reading on the forum for a while, but never joined because I didn't actually have a project car. However, I finally found what I think is a fairly nice start. Its a plain 1972 Chevy Nova with an average inline 6 and powerglide. It belonged to an old lady who apparently didn't drive much because it only reads 35xxx miles. The bad news is that it has been through a body shop, according to the guy I got it from (also the lady's mechanic since the early 70's interestingly enough). However, the body isn't my main concern, as the short term goal is to get this thing more power and a little better suspension. Anyway, I will get to the only part that matters...the pictures

Nice project, i've got a 72 as well, should be nice. Ive got some hotchkis front and rear springs which would help quite a bit, pm me if you are interested.

Welcome aboard. The car looks tough in those pictures. If you're looking for a fairly simple bolt-on install that would make a huge difference in the way the car drives, check out our Nova TVS. Later on down the road, when you're making huge power and racing every weekend, if you want to do a-arms and more, you could always add them.

Super Chevy did a Nova suspension story on a budget project car where the owner had less than $20k total in the car when it was done, and it out-handled a Porsche 911

If you have suspension questions, feel free to call us, even if it's just to chat.
