I am retrofitting a 96 LT1 into my 58 Chevy Biscayne and am trying to determine if I can use a stock inlet/outlet setup radiator. As budget is a major factor I found a nice aluminum radiator that will keep the motor cool in the heat of the Phoenix summer, but the inlet and outlet are set up for a gen 1 sbc. I believe I can run the Head Steam Vent tube into the outlet side of the waterpump so I wouldn't need a separate bung on the radiator for it. What I'm unsure of is the downflow vs crossflow aspect.
I came across a thread somewhere discussing this but cannot find it now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
