      How to wire electronic speedo?

Hey guys, I am doing a swap in a 65 Buick Skylark. I am using a LT1 and 4L60E. I found a great deal on a set of electronic gauges and I don't understand how I would wire in the speedo. I haven't bought the gauges yet because I wanted to know if I could wire in the speedo first. This car doesn't have wheel speed sensors like the car I took the motor and trans from so I'm kinda lost. The gauges are from tpigauges and look really great and have that classic look. Any one with some insight I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
      -Jeremy

      elec speedo

The 4L60E will (should) have a vehicle speed sensor (VSS); These normally have 2 wires that feed the speed signal to the ECM. You can tap into that, or the output signal from the ECM. Either way- you can use the signal from that & then calibrate the speedo. Autometer has you run a certain distance to cal it- it's pretty easy.

I use the ECM signal to drive the speedometer. Your tuner can change the ECM prameters to get it close, then use the Autometer calibration proceedure to get it spot-on.
