Some updated pics of Agent Orange

Thought I would share some current pics of the 68 Camaro project.
We are getting very close. Just need to finish interior, some sheet metal alignnment and brake lines.
We have been working really hard and have went from rotisserie to it's current state in about 3 weeks. We were trying to make the Turkey run show in Daytona but fell a little short.

Badass looking Camaro. But, those Heartbeat 1980's valvecovers aren't worthy of being on that fine ride

Some plain ones or sheetmetal ones would look 100x better.

      Thanks for the kind words.
I agree 100% on the valve covers.
We bought this car as a project. The 502ci came with it.
I like the GM cast covers, wish they made the 502 covers like the 572 ones.

Pretty far along aren't ya. I would go with the ribbed valve covers personally or some plain PC's black ones. Car is looking great.

Looks great. I build a set of SFCs just like yours. Question; did you use crush tubes in the horizontal holes that mount the sub frame?

Yes I welded in sleaves so I could tighten it without crushing the 2x3.

I maybe mistaken but Mark may mean what did you undercoat/paint the unerside of the car with? At least that is what I am curious about.

And is that HOK Tangelo Pearl?

The underside of the car is coated with Rapter coating.
      It's a bedliner spray.

This is the first time I have used it and am very impressed with it.
It is very hard and durable.

That Goodrich gas cap looks mysteriously like the one we've been hearing about on here forever by an unnamed party (uhhemmm..). What exactly is it and where did you find it?

      Looking awesome!
