New guy from Brazil - Mustang

      Hello Everybody,

My name is Alex, I’m from Brazil.

First of all, I’m glad to find a place like this with tons of information and people who love cars.

Down here we have a huge influence of European and Japanese cars, even Ford and GM cars are European Models. I’m trying to build a dependable American car, to beat Audis, BMWs, Subarus in a road course. I know that this is a hard task, but I’ll try.

I started looking for the muscle cars of late 60’s and 70’s, but they are very rare and pricey (60,000 US$ + for a bone stock car in good shape), I can't afford that much plus the parts to make it fast, so my next choice was a 95 Mustang GT.

The car has 20.000 miles, and I already did some work in the motor (aluminum heads, cam, intake, tb, injectors, etc), and now I’ll work in the handling.

I’m looking for wheels, and a suspension update (coilover?) so advices are very welcome.

      Thanks!

      Alex

Welcome to the site Alex! Your pony car can develop some serious muscle with a few more bolt-ons, and there is a ton of aftermarket support for the Mustang as well.
It will be so much fun to beat up on all the imports.
      Nice clean ride, BTW.

cool, my daily driver is a 95 mustang GT. there are so many bolt on parts for these cars. I have colivers in the front and Adjustable spring perches in the back. with the car lowered 2" i can pull 1G in turns. Good luck with your build how crazy are you going to get with this car?

      Hi...

I had an Auto Shop specialized in turbocharged engines for several years, and I have the opportunity to build some very powerfull street cars. Each part was hand made, turbos, intercoolers, headers, etc

I need to earn some money to buy a DART block/ forged internals and build a turbo setup to my car.
