Reputable Engine shop in the Long Beach area

Hey guys, I'm looking for a reputable shop, in the Long Beach and surrounding areas, to swap engines in my Ford Ranger. I will have an engine ready to drop in, I would like to be able to drive my truck there with the engine and drop it off. Swaparoo and drive home.

I've been calling around and some shops want $1000+ dollars just to swap an engine, that seems like a lot of money for a job that shouldn't take more than 3 hours. The only reason I'm not doing it is because I have no where to do it; thats what I get for living in an apartment.

So, hope you guys know of someone.

Try Datsun Alley in Signal Hill close to Cherry & Spring. They work on all kinds of vehicles and swapped my 03 5.7 Hemi engine out after it gave up the ghost.

Ask for Gary, he's the owner.

My longtime friend reccommended them to me and they do good work quickly.
