      New to me Trailblazer SS

Started the new job this week. Needed to get a vehicle. Had been looking for a clean Trailblazer SS, but they are somewhat hard to find. Got lucky and got a decent deal on this 2007 with 27,000 miles.

These things are awesome. 395 horse / 400 tq with no mods. I'm think I have the LS bug now.... Here's a couple of pics I snapped after work tonight.

I would love to have a 5.3L TB or an SS. I have an I6 Traiblazer and I hate it, especially after being in a stroked SS. The I6 is just a pig of an engine for such a heavy vehicle. Great looking ride.

Ha... Are you trying to fool people by removing the SS badging? I love ours. It's so fun to pass unsuspecting people... especially when they don't want to be passed!

cool trucks. only I wish they had the fenders of the GMC envoy instead; to me, the envoy fenders just flow better.
the TBSS is probably the best deal in a LS powered vehicle.

Nice truck! Is it AWD or 2wd? I got to ride along for a hard launch in a modded AWD version spraying a 200hp shot - it was a life-changing experience

If you have to ask... you can't afford it! I have managed to get 19 on highway ... once. I think my wife averages around 15 for city. But it's a fun bad mileage!

I get about the same mileage in an I6. About 15 city and maybe 21 highway if I am lucky. I would much rather have a V8 version of a TB.
