wheel opinon for a 69 camaro

which of these two wheels would look better on my mini tubbed 1969 camaro (18" & 20" rims)?
I love the 2 toned look, but have a budget to watch and get a great deal on billet specialities wheels.
      Thanks for the input.

It really depends on what type of "look" you're after. The wheel on the left is similar to an "old school" American Salt Flat. The one on the right is more of a modern 3 piece look. I'm partial to the "old school" look if the car is close to stock in appearence.

Asking which wheel with no idea of your plans for your build is impossible for me to give you an honest opinion. It's all about the big picture.

Where are you with this project? Buying wheels should probably be one of the last things you do, not one of the first....

I with ya on this one man,I like the look of that old-school wheel too...but it really depends on what color it's going on and what trim does your car have.

The wheel on the left looks too much like a Mopar wheel. The right wheel is OK but looks more at home on a Avalanche to me.

Go 19's and 20's. Pick the wheel YOU like, that's what a custom car is all about.

I'm painting the car silver with black stripes and very little chrome. Not sure where to go with this...

If you really want a good idea. Get rendering done of the car. During design phase you and the artist can change the wheels out to see what wheel you want to go with. Plus it is a great boost to getting the project done. i got my rendering done by Kris Horton at carsbykris.com.

Well ya answered your own question then...how's a full-polished wheel gonna look against that?If you like it,then go for it.

70ssnova is right, have a rendering done and stick to it.It'll be a LOT cheaper in the long run and will help keep you on track.

what's your budget? Are you set on these two styles? Some of the vendors here may be able to give you other options in the same price range.
