      painting front and rear window trim

      has anyone painted the chrome window trim around the front and back window of there 69 camaro?? does anyone have any pics?? thanks-dom

      I have, color keyed them I think it look great. scuff with red scotchbrite and epoxy prime them and paint

      I have painted them also. same red scuff and primer. try not to use any more paint then you have to the more build up you have the easier it chips. good luck.

      I painted them silver I think it looks really good

      I would have it powder-coated.... it will last a lot longer without chipping.

      I know it is not a 69, but all trim has been powder coated. Trim was powder coated approximately 20 years ago, not one scratch/ chip.
