I would go with a dark silver or gun metal gray with light silver stripes.
I would go for a zenko stinger hood and the matching stripes for that.

I voted for black w/silver stipes, but consider gunmetal stripes, a bit more subdued, but the combination looks great.

I would go against the grain and paint it something besides what you have posted for your choices. Those are nice colors, but as everyone knows, there are already plenty of examples.
I vote for doing something different. Just my .02 and valued accordingly. It is your car however, so color it as you see fit. It'l look good in the end.

Dark colors show dirt. Lighter colors don't. Except white obviously. How often do you plan on driving it compared to washing it? Had a black car once and the maintenance got old quick. Just 2 more cents.

Black is and always be the best looking color but is the most upkeep. Now your silver or gray colors are going to be the most expensive becauseit is the hardest color to paint. My buddy works a restoration shop his bos is an awsome painter and he still screwed up a 69 camaro last week 3 times it took him to get it right so take that into consideration. I like black on top and silver on the side. GL with your project I'm just about where u are at my 69 camaro stage

I think all black with some Matte black stripes or accents to break up the hood. I love black and cleaned my caddi 2-3 times a week and loved it.

I always thought nantucket blue with dark silver stripes would look great on a 1st gen. IMHO
