      8.5"x18

Will a 8.5"x18" wheel work on the front of a 67' Camaro? All I see are 8" wheels most people seem to use.

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure 8" is the widest you can go when utilizing the stock subframe. Of course an aftermarket subframe or a modified stock subframe would allow the ultimate in customization for wheel fitment.

Just out of courosity what gets in the way using a stock subframe.Does the wheel stick out to much towards the fender or does it rub/hit some where on the inside.I see some guys using newer vette wheels and such.

I am running an 8.5 vette rim. I needed to use an adapter to make the rim work. You can use them but they could rub the frame rails under full lock.

Running a 8-1/2" up front on my Camaro for years but it will cost you some turning circle. You have to make the stops a bit bigger otherwise the rims/tires will hit the frame.
