New Houston area Wheel Fad?!?
Had to drive down to Houston last night for a meeting this morning....got passed by a white '10 Camaro with huge (at least 24's) spoke wheels complete with fake knock-off spinner caps...crazy enough, but what was really crazy was that the knock-off spinner caps stuck out at least 6" beyond the wheel/tire face - it looked absolutely ridiculous...almost like a Pimp My Ride meets Mad Max kinda thing...I couldn't get pics because it was dark and we were traveling 80+ mph on I-45 in North Houston.
Anyway, I just thought it was some isolated nutcase....until today on the way home - saw 3 more cars with the same type of wheels on them....goodness gracious they are freakin' ugly! Has anyone else seen these? I did a google image search and couldn't find anything.

I know it's ridiculous to post something like this without pics, but it was just to0 crazy not to. Surely someone in the Houston area has seen this? NineBall? Anyone?__________________________

09-09-2009 #6okay...took plenty of searching through google but found some pics (and an article that pretty much point to this fad being confined - so far - to the Houston area)
