      KISS snubs Manchester NH!

Let me preface this by saying I am a huge KISS fan BUT... Anyone in the NH area knows of a station called THE BUZZ... So Kiss runs this promotion called the "YOU DEMANDED IT" Tour in which fans email into the band and the cities with the MOST votes will have KISS perform in their city.. MANCHESTER NH placed 2nd or 3rd IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY but KISS decided that Manchester was not worthy to hold a concert there so they moved it to BOSTON instead! Like I said a HUGE KISS fan an am glad they are coming to BOSTON(closer to me) but I dont think it is right to make a tour all about the fans and then pull it back?

They should change it to the 'YOU DEMANDED IT BUT WE DONT CARE" tour. Just sayin

I would think about going to a Kiss show, but I am afraid of getting blood-drool spattered on me and then be forced to pay Gene Simmons royalties.

      Those guys are greedy.

It ain't Kiss without Ace Frehely. You can hear his new single on YouTube and it blows away new Kiss. I'm gonna buy Ace's record just to piss off Gene.

I agree! KISS died a LONG time ago!

One of the best shows I ever saw was KISS at the Sports Arena here in L.A.

you seem shocked.. they already had their entire tour mapped out before even announcing this silly internet thing. this was just something they did to make it seem like they actually give a crap about their fans.

Keep It Simple, Stupid? That's the most relevant KISS I'm aware of.

I went to the same tour just so I could say I saw them before they quit touring. I then seen them a few years later, again...

i think Ozzy has KISS beat on the "this is my last tour" scale.
i saw him on what was supposed to be his last tour- the "No More Tours" tour- back in '92 or so, and he's still doing shows to this day, 17 years later.

I think Ozzy doesn't know what he is doing anymore (actually its pretty certain he doesn't know) and just goes where Sharon tells him to go. Ozzy and Kiss are like that one store that is constantly going out of business, for years and years.

Me too, I saw Kiss in 2000 on the farewell tour. But then again, I went to the Rolling Stones Farewell tour in 1981 also and they are still playing. They sold out 2 shows for our 60,000 seat stadium, Saturday and Sunday shows. I will never forget, as you went into the stadium they searched you, did not arrest anyone, just took your booze and put it in the right trash container, your drugs in the left container. Damn that pissed me off! LOL! Some new band named Van Halen opened for them!!!! And I just saw Van Halen with Wolfgang (need Michael back) last year!

      Holy **** I am old!!

Sharon is a whore who spends all of ozzy's money then sends him out to make more. What she did to Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake, removing them from the Blizzard & Diary records was as low as you can get.

Her & Gene will share a special place in rock & roll hell.

I agree that gene is wrong on this one but having been to manchester I don't know that they have a venue large enough.
      (gene's head is awful big)
there is some little hockey rink type arena but thats it.
we can't have gene up in there melting the ice.

now that you mention it frank I think I did see you at the stones show. weren't you the one yelling at henry paul "play freebird!!"

Sounds like a typical married lady if you ask me!

It's double edged though... would Ozzy have pushed himself to be that great after Black Sabbath on his own? Would he even still be alive? He's cranked out some pretty legendary material since being with her.

the cities that got played were not picked by fans but rather a way to direct when they would play a certain area... the company the ran it was called EVENTFUL...

with a tour production like kiss there were obviously many cities that they would play regardless of what the fan who signed up for eventful voted for .. they were careful to call it a FAN DIRECTED TOUR... the only thing that got directed was the route... some of these areans probably knew last year that KISS would be there..

i got this guy who knows this guy woudl owns a skybox at madison square garden, he knew february that kiss was playing there 10-10-09

      ....

Come on...How many times can you actually hear detroit rock city.....

Maybe they should do the "music from the elder" tour....I can just see gene rocking in a rocking chair singing "A world without heroes"....

I seen a couple shows. Saw them with Skid row and nugent....Very good show but for gods sake finish the new album to give us something else to listen too. Where is the vinnie vincent invasion when we need them...Pink is still in you know...
