      II Much Sold

Just got off the phone with John Parsons. Apparently he sold IIMuch to an an undisclosed individual, who saw the car at Road Killers, for a very large sum.
As part of the deal, John has reluctantly agreed to convert from the coilovers to airbags.

This comes as a shock to me but John said it was just too much money to turn down.

It's true guys. Just got off the phone wit John. He has convinced me to change the chassis slightly on 50/50 so we can compete in the Baja 500 truck race. Now 50/50 will be an off road camaro.

      Right.:bsjerk:

Geez John, you could have at least come to me for an idea. I mean, we all know John's not gonna sell that car. His wife would kill him. Now it being stolen, THAT'S a different story. Shoot, I think that would make John's AND David's hearts skip a beat.

And Tyler, that actually sounds kinda cool for some reason........... There I go eating highlighter felt again......

JohnU came up with this on his own

Yeah, John called me on the road to tell me he had done an April Fools' joke. It had nothing to do with the brief and informal conversation at the shop.

Anyway, David and crew are doing a fantastic job on the body work. I couldn't be more pleased. Unexpected bonus: Keith is fixing all the body problems with lead, just like the OEMs. Of course, I screwed up by putting my hands directly on the sheetmetal. I couldn't help myself: the car looked great sitting there in raw metal. The interior and cage are all painted in satin black, and I brought home a sample in the final color. They are still on target for final delivery next month!
