      Where to find open track days

      I am working toward making my TA more road course fun and now am perplexed there does nto seem to be any tracks in a days drive from me here in South Arkansas.... Dang that sucks... Any suggestions on where to look for friendly events to maybe get some schooling I was told the N.A.S.A bunch was a good group, but was just looking for tracks close and I am coming up empty !

      Hang on, I know of one for vintage rides on the East Coast...
      1970 RS/SS350 139K on the clock:
      89 TPI motor w/ 1pc rear seal coupled to a Viper T56 via Mcleod's modular bellhousing w/ hydraulic T/O bearing from the Viper, 12 bolt rear w/ 3.73 gearing, SC&C upper control arms, factory lowers with Delalums, C5 brakes at all four corners, Front Wheels 17x8's with Sumi 255/40/17 and Rear Wheels 17x9's with Sumi 275/40/17.

      For any of you track rats, some enthusiasts in the mid-atlantic are trying to get a group of vintage open trackers / autocrossers together. This is for the driving enthusiast who does not have the budget and / or desire to go vintage racing, but would prefer to participate in high-performance events with cars of similar age and capabilities.
