Shockwaves with mono leafs?

Looks good. But I dont get it? You have two springs in place now. Are you trying to use the leaf springs as a lateral locating device? Why two spring systems?

It all looks good. Cept maybe that 1/2" bolt in shear (lower mount for the shockwave). The one that holds the black bracket to the what, angle iron L bracket. That looks to be a point of failure. If that is a piece of angle iron and a half inch bolt I would think about another arrangement. The tab of the angle iron will bend. Before the bolt shears.

Just adding two triangles of metal to the angle will keep it from bending. Some simple gussets. And you could even do it to the brackets you have. Make the triangle pieces to fit on the outside of the bracket so you will clear the bolts. Gonna have to toss that large washer at the bottom though. Whats that for?



It all looks good. I just think the lower mounts for the shockwaves could use a lil attention. JR
