      Off the top of my head and from a structural standpoint, 40° from centerline sounds like a no-brainer and 30° scares me a little.

      At 30° the axial compression in the link will be twice the lateral load component, and any bushing compliance or bracket flexibility will be reflected in less accurate lateral axle location (it'll deflect laterally somewhat more, and the original 30° skew angle for the outboard skew link might shift to 29° or even a bit lower).
