Where/how do car shops get suspension mount location information?
Last weekend at our local "cruise in" I saw a mid 50's Chevy that had full Vette suspension, front & rear, the newer suspension with the tranny at the rear. So I was curious how car shops get this suspension mount information. Do they take a car & measure all of it, or do they get it from GM? Like a body shop that needs to check measurements from a wreck or something?
