OK guys, we got great news today.
Our cars will be in the SEMA Car Corral for the optima Challenge display. That is great news for us. However, we have to be at the convention center to put the cars on display on Sunday at 1PM. This means we are forced to move our leave date up to Thursday Oct. 29, one day earlier. We want to have plenty of time to get everything right once we get there, plus give ourselves a little time in case something goes wrong with one of the cars.

So, everyone planning to join in, please make/change your plans accordingly.

The 29th is my B-day so I will now get to spend it with good friends on the road doing car stuff.

Cannot think of it getting much better than that.

It would be fantastic if you could get a local sign shop to make each of you a placard to place on the windshield of the car that explains why this car has 2500mi of road grime on it.

1 week until we head West.

The train will be leaving Bills house Thursday morning, stopping in Nashville to pick me up and then West into the sunset. Will be rolling into Vegas sometime Saturday so if anyone is on the fence about joining us speak up now and lets lock down the when and where we can meet up.

      Back to the shop.....

Hell I'm good to go now guys LOL..... Seriously though I'll move things a day ahead and look forward to the run. The move works in my favor as the 14 day weather forecast looks pretty wet and certainly very cold (even for our traditional patterns)...

We're rolling out after work on Thursday. We'll be chasing you all the way there. I doubt we'll catch up, but we'll try...

Our goal for the first day will be Oklahoma City, but that is a lofty goal, about 900 miles from Pigeon Forge.

I think the optima cars are all supposed to be placed between 1 and 4 on Sunday? I wonder if we should all hook up and drive in together?
