looking for local 70-72 Chevelle for test fit

      Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a 70-72 Chevelle or Elcamino local to Canyon Country California or willing to drive up to test fit a new hood latch, I will need to mount this to your car, if we are happy with the fit you can keep it, we are very confident it will fit fine but need to check.

      Thanks

Well I was able to drive down and meet up with 1badchevelle, Fabian has a nice project going there. We were able to determine that the pin is a little short on the threaded area, I will need to modify the pin to have another 1/2" of thread to compensate for the added thickness of the latch that it screws into. Fabian when I have this done I will ship you out a part, thanks.

I am in Auburn, CA if that helps? I have a 1970 Chevelle that is finished and would be a great addition.

Anyone with a Chevelle needs to add this to their list of must have's. When I seen the first ones for the Camaro I could not wait until Rick came out with one for the Chevelle(you can ask him) I was fortunate enough to have Rick(what a great guy) come over to my house and test fit the latch and I must say the quality of the part is exceptional. Well worth the $$$, the bar part as Rick mentioned it was a bit off and will need to work out that issue to make sure it fits.
