      G-body Wheels Needed

I finally decided its time to upgraded from my current wheels to something newer. The old Weld Pro-Stars didn't do much for the looks of the car so I sold them off yesterday and i'm now a member of the jack stand club. Do to being on a tight budget i'm only looking to spend about $300.00 per wheel, $1200.00 on wheels plus tires. So i'm here looking for some suggestions as to what wheel I should go with. I know alot of people say the torque thrust wheel is played out but I like them, so it is a wheel that i'm considering. I'm also looking at Billet Specialties Qualifier and Street Star. I really like the Budnik M5 but that isn't in my budget though. Any thoughts or input would be great. Heres what I have to work with.

What about a wheel with a gun metal center and a polished lip? Any wheels ideas?

TTII wheels will never play out in my opinion,The problem is that alot of people have them, including myself. But they look good on just about anything and the design is timeless.

See thats just it. Lets say I buy brand X wheels which looks great and is in style now. A year or two down the road, times change and that style is no longer "cool" The torque thrust will always be a great looking wheel. I'm still keeping my options open at this time though.

I liked those at first but I think it will still give my car a drag car look. Has anyone seen or used the Center Line Wheels Legend Series Lazer II ? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CL...7/?image=large

I think something with a charcoal center and a polished (or brushed) lip would look nice against the paint color.

Go with a set of 17" Coys IMO.

Why not go with wheel vintages and get a 17, 18 rally style rim. Or how anout some IROC style wheels.

I got these from drivers inc. Chip Foose legends. They really fit good. 17X9.5 out back 17X8 in front. Call them at drivers inc. you wont be disapointed.

The only Coy's wheels that I really care for is in there Intro line and none of them come with different color center. Ive never really cared for the Foose legends either. Post some pictures or links to wheels that you think would look good. Thanks for all the feed back and opinions so far.

TT II's can have a different look with a change of center caps. When I wanted the TT IIs several years ago I was afraid of the same thing with so many cars out there already using them. So I designed center caps that change the look of the wheel enough to be different yet still have the same good looking affordable wheel. I sell a couple designs that accept replacement emblems from different brands as well as a smooth faced one. Ya, it makes the wheels cost a bit more but you don't have to buy them at the same time you buy the wheels. WWW.RadCapz.com I like the idea of charcoal centered wheels for your car no matter what brand you end up with.

Those would look really good on there. Price does not seem to bad either.

All that matters is that you like the end result. People will think it looks cool anyway. I mean heck alot more people are building these cars, and they will look towards yours for insperation.

The Boss 338's look just like the Coy's IMO. Tony, I really like Ratmalibu's wheels and think they would look good on my car. Go one step further like NOT A TA said and add a different center cap. And your right t72ss402 it all comes down to what I like in the end. Every one has a different opinions when it comes to cars, and thats what makes the car world so much fun, all the variety out there.

This picture came from Maliburacing.com's visitor's rides sector. This is kinda what I have in mine, ive always liked the flat cap look on certain cars. Do they still offer torque thrust with the grey center in 17's and 18's?
