Applying decals to new paint?
Hey guys, Im going to be painting a 1980 Z28 Camaro in a few days and was wanting to know how long I should wait to apply the Z28 decals to the car. Im not sure if it needs sufficient time (Ive heard up to 6 weeks) to out gas completely before I apply them or can I apply them within a day or two? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Best to let it cure the 4 to 6 weeks.

We had this come up when I was at recertification school in Dallas (PPG) one of the shops that had techs there was a city shop that did the police cars in Tulsa, they were having problems w/decals bubbling, solvents getting trapped. We were told three days and you are good to go, Shawn
