Wow, that is one clean ride, NICE!
I'd do anything to make it more enjoyable on the street: tint, seats, etc. and drive it.
(I know AZ is about as hot as TX)
Looks like most of the mechanicals are squared away..
      Good luck!

its getting a full custom stereo put in, and it needs new glass (esp. the doors) and then i'll get the tint done. havent really found seats that i like yet - im rather tall so room is an issue, and ive found that most aftermarket seats actually sit a touch taller because of the aftermarket seat rails.

Very nice car! Fine silver metallic makes for a great base to lay down some stripes in your favorite eye-popping color. I'd suggest one of PPG's LiquidCrystals from their Vibrance Collection. Keep us posted on the next step.

Welcome to the site. That is a spectacular Chevelle you've purchased. It's certainly one of the nicest '66/'67 Chevelles I've seen. Well done.

I would suggest checking out some 2004-2006 GTO seats. They are prob going to require some custom brackets, but the seats are fantastic, 8 way power (both of them), tilt; so you can get in the back seat, have manual lumbar, and are made to manage tall/large people.
I'm 6'2", 230, my son is 6'6" 260. we both agree on the seats...

eBay often has nice sets in the $400-700 range (front & rear). I have some, several friends have bought some, and they are worth the few extra pounds (60 lbs ea vs 25 stockers), after a long drive, or a 'spirited' drive you will agree.

i had a 2005 gto. after 14K miles the seats started to break down from my weight (just under 300 lbs). thanks for the advice though.
