      Looking good guys!

Hope to get started on mine again after I get the truck on the road. Sold the big block and going LS power now! Have a set of C5 brakes and new 18"s collecting dust as well.

here is the 86 Camaro i just got. i don't know how "pro touring" it will ever be, but it drives nice and that V6 should be fairly easy on gas. one of my cousins might have a complete IROC body kit laying around that i can get for cheap to make it look somewhat fast. i had to tear the interior out to get all the mouse nests out, but i think it cleaned up pretty nicely. i just need to find/make me some black door panels..

Just throwing it out there, but I think it would be cool to stay away from the ground effects and do a Nascar style front spoiler with the struts like this: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showt...hp?t=123728627

yeah, but i can bet the IROC stuff cheap, and i know that people a lot smarter than me GM spent a lot of time using really expensive wind tunnels and what not to make it actually work..
besides, i really don't like the look of the splitters on the Cup cars. the new Nationwide cars are pretty smooth looking, tho.

when I was in HS (grad in '88), everyone had either a 5.0 mustang or a Z/28. if I could have one, I'd love a stock '87 or '88 IROC. in red, thanks.

I parked next to a really radical third gen at a father's day show in Beverly Hills. And when I say radical, I mean radical. This particular car has more custom bodywork and fabrication than the Camaro Rad Rides is working on right now. The interior is quite astonishing as well. I'll upload a couple shots tomorrow when I get a chance.

Well, before you look at the pictures, just know that I chose my words rather carefully. When you see it there is no denying that it is "radical," and "astonishing." In fact there was much more of a crowd around this third gen than my Camaro at the show. Oh and if you happen to like it, the owner/creator/builder saved the molds so that people could replicate the car on their own Camaro/Firebird convertible.

This is why you don't see too many of these yet. The parts alone in this car would have cost much more than 5K and you see the asking price. That car is a bargain.

Yes these are not cars to build and sell for profit! You really have to love one to build one.
I just got mine moved to my new house, it has been stored in a dirty garage for 3 years and I feel ashamed of myself for it. As soon as my 6@ c10 is on the road the iroc is getting some muchneeded attention.

Love that 2 tone Formula, needs a little lowering and it'd be perfect

I made some progress on mine and finished my buddies 92 GTA (apart from it needing bigger brakes, these stock things are a disgrace).

Mine, some exhaust work and some more engine compartment stuff and radiator setup all done. All pulleys done, custom flat belt drive system and more.

      still looking like crap

The 92 GTA, new engine, trans, SC setup, exhaust...well most everything is redone.

Looking good. I have wanted to try a de coupled set up. People either say they are the greatest thing ever or a waste of money.
I would like to here about your watts set up.
      That's one rare intake too!
