Remote power steering resevior height ?

I am looking for the home of my remote power steering resevior and have lots of room to put it and some are higher and some are lower than the top of the pump.

I keep telling myself higher is better as a general rule of thumb but can you do alright as long as the top of the fill cap is above the fittings on the pump?

The best spot I have to mount it is right under the top radiator hose ,making it a bit harder to get to to fill and it is a bit lower than the pump. But I like the way it is close to the pump there.

So what is the best height for it ?
