      I totally respect Buick's musclecar legacy and know they had great motors but without mini-tubs, I really don't need 500 ft lbs much less the added weight over the nose of a big block Buick. As it is, the LS2 with a cam and a Keisler 6 speed is going to get 25 mpg and be able to light the tires up all day.

      Don't think of it as cross breeding because I'm not the kind of guy to just drop an SBC in anything with an open engine compartment. Instead, think of it as a corporate GM motor that would be in Buicks today if they weren't still selling wrong wheel drive V6s to blue hairs.

      With the aluminum block and heads, the corrected geometry of the L&H billet spindles and new Hotchkis UCAs, I'll be shaving hours off my autocross e.t.s!
