dash paint
Hey guys,
I painted my 68 firebird dash using a black laquer figuering black is black but it turned out too grey. I have the original paint codes but they won't work on my parts store's system. Can anyone tell me some updated codes for interior starlight black? Here are the old ones: Du Pont, 88L; Ditzler, 9266; Rinshed-Mason, A-946. The numbers were taken from a pontiac service statement.

I'd have thought that black was black. What was the resolution?

A guy at camaros.net told me it crosses with ppg 9248.
