      New Guy "Carl" 69 Camaro

Well me and my dad got this car about 20yrs(I was 5) ago and while he restored his 68 we together restored the 69. It's a 40k mile car and I haven't been able to go alot futher with the car for about 8yrs(deployments slowed progress). Well it's a 2 bolt 350, .060 over, rebuilt heads and all the usual bolt on's. It's going to be going to a twin turbo small block soon with alot of updates. Thanks for looking.

      First, thanks for your service

Nice ride. Please start a build thread, and include lots of pictures. We like pictures here. So, what are your plans for the car? Twin turbo and "updates" can mean a bunch of different directions......

I'm either going with an stroked small block or a stroked 396 block that I have. I have a set of garett T70's that I will most likely be using along with an EFI setup. I plan to convert to coilover suspension with 4 link rocking a 3.93 gear setup. Paint might be changed along with no vinyl top anymore. I will be getting out of the military soon, so more pics of everything when I get home. Thanks for looking.

Very classic looking ride. I had to shed my vinyl top too. Such an original looking car to convert. I don't know if I could do it.

Yeah, I trying to look at it like it's all just upgrades, lol. I'm just ready to move on to new things with the car and all my little 4cyl car aren't cutting it anymore. Thanks for the warm welcome from everybody.
