      Shocks

I am building a 1954 GMC with Camaro subframe and Differential under it. I was wondering how I should mount the shocks, stock it had them both going to the front.. I noticed that all hte cars I do have the shocks staggered.. Is there a reason for the shocks to both be going foward?? This truck will not be used to haul anything or to tow anything, just a street rod..

The 73-up trucks have staggered shocks as well (leaf spring rear). If you are using leaf springs, I would stagger the shocks. If it has control arms, no need to stagger that I know of.

That's why they are staggered, to control axle windup and minimize wheel hop. I'd stagger them.
