Custom kick panels for 1st gen Camaros

Hello All: Given that the high range of a tweeter is so dependent on not being obstructed, and most of us have knees, do these kick panels work for the tweeters or do we really need to get the tweeters up in the A-pillar molding?

If youre making a-pillars anyway, then I would put them in the pillar. A noisy classic car gives some "cushion" for less than ideal speaker placement (in the kick panel) because its harder to hear small details. If youre an audiophile that appreciates really good sound, you may want to consider the time alignment when positioning the tweeters in relation to the woofer. (that is, unless youre running an active crossover)
