looking for LED lighting ideas

What I ended up going with was a set of 1 watt leds from varad


This car is a pro touring/prostreet 55 chevy nomad. The hood has a vertical support beam that runs near the front of the hood (about where the radiator sits) I mounted the lights to the inside of the vertical brace so when you open the hood, the light shines at a 45 degree angle into the engine compartment. It came out excellent, but I forgot to take pics. I'll do it the next time he brings the car in.



The bright white glow at night has a similar glow to a flourescent droplight. looks real nice
