Project Wraith updates - sneak preview reveal for Power tour

This is the rendering I thanked ben hermance for.

It has turned out excellent and everything is structurally sound as well in the as built according to the rendering - right down to the the strengthening crease in the grill.

It is all a one piece quick install front end for 67/68 mustangs. It has 4 bolts and 4 zeus fasterners and you can put it on or take it off in less than 10 minutes.

We will be selling them after we fully test it in production environment this year in racing and road course.

The bottom splitter / spoiler also goes on with zeus fasteners and can be installed for the track in less than 10 minutes.

we love it and it simplifies the front end - enlarges the intake - which is optimized for our intercooler setup / gets rid of the un needed lighting and elimiates the cracking that is classic where the front ends on the newer setups are moulded into the front fenders - which is a real painand an eyesore.

It also has better downforce with the full length splitter in the middle vs the other choice which does not go all the way across.

Most importantly your car gets rid of the ME TOO Eleanor look......

      How do you like it??

      real pic

we are leaving for power tour tomorrow - didnt want to reveal it before now since wanted it in production before somone copies it.

I have already seen our machine turned inserts turn up for mustangs. Ours was the original mustang application in this year. I am flattered....

I don't care for the hood, but the rest looks outstanding.

Looks good! But we need to talk about this baddest mustang thing, I got one coming that would put that to challenge.

cool - when its done and all road tested and "burned in" and you have all the kinks worked out I would love to see it at a show.

do you think it will make it to any shows next season? If you get it done by this fall it will give you the spring to really pound it and rework anything that does not work.

She is still in the rust fixing stage. So within the next year or so she should be getting close.

sorry you dont like it brandon. I love it and that is why I built it.

I built the car to be a well engineered car that everything works on.

I feel I have accomplished that.

As far as eleanor looks - I dont think so especially our front end.

there is only so much you can do on side scoops etc.

Its not for everyone but it does not have to be

regardless - thanks for your candid feedback. duly noted.

Don't get me wrong, it looks nice, but... My first thought is it looks like Eleanor with a couple minor changes so its not identical to the rest.

I will say it does look a lot like eleanor, but also to his defense unless your a mold and fiberglass/carbon fiber expert, or do a ton of metal work to it it's really down to stock-ish looking or eleanor.

probably the hood and wheels at this point - but I am not going to change them since I like them. the hood is functional - if any of you guys have seen my intake - its just fits under that bump in the hood so its king of semantics on how to design a hood for it - I will stick with it.

My front end is extremely functional now and I am happy with it.

like you said though - there are not a lot of things you can do without completed redevelopment of the body kits and I have not seen anything that looks too much better - it gets a ton of attention as it is - it was very well trafficed at the show today -and quite frankly this car is about performance and is built around the engine - which the new front end and hood are very functional for.

today at the who - its was 9 to 1 of engine vs car looks discussion - usually somehting like "wow your car looks great -can you tell me all about the engine" followed by 5 minutes of gear head discussion

it was a lot of fun
